What is a LaseView camera set?
LaseView is a beam profiler with M2 platform software, which is an inexpensive beam profiler software that can be used intuitively.
The LaseView camera set series includes a set of optimal cameras for various conditions such as laser wavelength band, diameter, and pulse / CW.
Easily build a beam profile observation system according to the usage environment.

Difference between “femtosecond pulse or condensed light” and “parallel light”

A protective cover glass is usually attached on top of the CCD sensor.
Interference may occur between the cover glass and the surface of the CCD sensor.
In the case of “femtosecond pulse or condensed light”, interference is unlikely to occur, but in the case of “parallel light”, interference is likely to occur and it is necessary to use a CCD without a cover glass.
* NCG (Non Cover Glass) is attached to the model number of the camera set without cover glass.

Other options
Attenuator set
The trigger option is effective for low repetition frequencies (below the frame rate).
Mainly for measuring pulsed light. It is used to synchronize laser and camera exposures, especially when measuring low repetitive pulses below 10 Hz.
The pulsed laser (10Hz) will not be visible unless the camera is synchronized at 30Hz.
The trigger option is not required if the repetition frequency is about 100Hz or higher, such as when measuring pulses. The trigger option is recommended for low repetitions such as 10Hz.

* If the laser beam power becomes stronger than 100 mW, the absorption lens ND filter (NDFS-CA50) will generate a thermal lens effect, so a beam splitter that can further reduce the light is required.

3. Micro-beam measurement set
In order to measure beams smaller than 30 μm, a set of microbeam measurement optics is required. As a set of microbeam measurement optics, we have achieved “”high magnification, high NA, and ultra-low aberration”” that is not available anywhere else.

4. Microbeam measurement optical system set + dedicated holder + 3-axis stage
In order to measure beams of several micrometers in size, a 3-axis (x, y, z) stage with micrometer-level position adjustment is required.

Supported Cameras
*A camera with trigger option is suitable for measuring pulsed light.
*A camera without a cover glass is suitable for measurement of CW and nanosecond lasers.
*CCD cameras are sensitive to wavelengths up to 1320 nm, but there are errors in beam profile measurement. For accurate measurement of long wavelengths above 1100 nm, infrared cameras are recommended.
