In Raman spectroscopy, chemical and structural information used to identify the material under analysis can be obtained. In general, the measured substance can be identified by comparing its spectrum with a database of known spectra (the fingerprint region).

The Raman Spectroscopy Educational Kit includes a laser light source and a complete set of spectroscopic optical components. By assembling these components from scratch, users can easily learn the fundamentals of Raman spectroscopy and spectrometers.

※This product was developed under the supervision of Professor Hitoki Yoneda based on the “Raman Scattering Spectroscopy Instrument Construction Program,” which is used in the hands-on laser education program at the Laser Science Center for Next Generation, The University of Electro-Communications.
